Hello my name is Stuart

Prior to New Pastures, I worked  at Derwen College in Oswestry and Moulton College in Northamptonshire where I taught both practical and theory land based subjects, as well as being a course manager. I am passionate about inspiring and helping people to grow and helping them to achieve their personal targets. I enjoy teaching and facilitating practical skills such as agricultural husbandry and countryside skills. I love my cows and hedge laying is my guilty pleasure!

Hi I'm Katie!

Previously, I worked at Moulton College in Northamptonshire where I primarily taught countryside management and agriculture, from Entry level up to degree level. However, my passion was always teaching young people with learning disabilities and autism. I am passionate about helping people to learn new skills, and supporting them in a pastoral capacity.  My role on the farm is to deliver qualifications and the day to day running of the business.

My favourite animals are horses, I love nothing more than spending an afternoon pampering the horses and sharing my knowledge.

I am a smiley face to greet people in the mornings!

Hi, My name is Rhi.

Before joining the team at New Pastures, I taught in the UK and Hong Kong as a classroom teacher, a Forest School leader and more recently as a Bushcraft instructor. I have spent many years supporting learners with SEND, teaching them new skills in the outdoors whilst seeing the amazing therapeutic effect spending time in nature can have.

To relax, I love cooking, spending time outdoors with my kids, walking, climbing big hills or paddle boarding at the coast. I also love learning new crafts and enjoy weaving things from willow or creating models of animals from wool by needle felting. I am a qualified archery instructor.

I have always been surrounded by animals; my favourites are horses, goats and dogs. I love sharing my passion for animals and the outdoors with young people, supporting them to grow in confidence, achieve great successes and develop their own skills and interests.

    ALICE BLACKBURN

 Learning Support Assistant

Hi!

My name Alice

I love the outdoors! I have always had pets such as dogs and rabbits, and I have grown up with horses too. Throughout my life, I have spent many years volunteering at riding schools, helping out on local farms and spending all my spare time outside. I love the farming way of life, and I am keen to get stuck in at every opportunity I get. I have previously worked within a SEN educational farm provision. I loved being able to combine my passion for animals, the outdoors and farming, with my passion for supporting young people and watching them succeed despite challenges they may come across.
